Ariana Grande celebrated her 26th with the children’s birthday party of all six-year-old’s dreams

Ariana Grande knows you’re never too old for party hats, balloons and rainbow Slinkies because even big kids love birthday parties. The singer, who turned 26 on the 26th, was thrown a huge kids’ party by Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on Wednesday night while she had to work on her birthday. And. It. Looked. Epic. There were streamers on the ceiling, banners and giant colourful balloons, along with long party tables big enough for all her pals.

Ariana’s mum Joan and her brother Frankie were there to shower her with love and gifts backstage, where she was presented with a huge cake adorably decorated with seven ring toppers. There was a photobooth, ofc, and the popstar shared the goofy pictures on Instagram to say she had ‘so much love’ for her friends and family. She added: ‘Grateful for the love and for the people i get to share this life with. and thank u for the birthday wishes. :)’ Even though she had to work, Ariana’s legion of fans – 20,000 of them to be exact – made her big day extra special by singing her happy birthday after the concert.

Ariana is still in the middle of her Sweetener tour which will continue until December, with UK shows in August, September and October. And the hitmaker’s big birthday wasn’t all she was celebrating this year. We did, of course, get the surprise news that Ariana has collabed with Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey on the Charlie’s Angels official soundtrack.
